Vikram Shah designs the objects the green transition actually runs on: cold-storage units that survive voltage swings, solar pumps that farmers can repair with hand tools, metering hardware built for monsoons rather than brochures. His studio’s premise is that products fail in the developing world because they were designed for somewhere else.
